Over the past couple of months, we’ve had the pleasure of providing marquees for a number of corporate events across Merseyside and the North West.
Our most recent corporate hire was for Ley Rubber in Kirkby, where we supplied our 4x10m marquee for an event of around 55 guests.
And this one wasn’t on grass.
It was installed on a car park — yes, a car park!
A question we get asked quite often is: “What happens if there’s nowhere to peg the marquee down?”
That’s not a problem.
For hard-standing areas such as car parks, concrete, paving or tarmac, we can secure our marquees using heavy-duty water weights. On this particular setup, we used water tanks weighing up to 60kg per marquee leg, bringing the total anchoring weight close to 1,000kg.
Safety is something we take seriously on every single hire. Whether it’s a corporate event for 50+ guests or a smaller private party at home, we make sure the marquee is properly secured for the location and conditions.
